Friends of the Napa Library
Annual Membership Meeting
Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at 4:00 p.m.
via Zoom

The annual meeting of the Friends of the Napa City-County Library, Inc. (FOL) will run concurrently with the FOL Board of Directors’ regularly scheduled March meeting.

At the meeting, the Nominating Committee will present a slate of nominees for board positions pursuant to the FOL Bylaws, Article VI, Section 1. The following slate would serve for three years, April 1,2022 through March 31, 2025:

1. Lee Milovich
2. Pat Milovich
3. Shari Sanguinetti
4. Sidney Odom
5. Ken DeJarnette

Additional nominations may be made from the floor with the consent of the nominee.

We have a great selection of fiction, history, biography, cookbooks, sciences, gardening, heath and self-help, literature, how-to and home crafts, business, law and politics, Children’s books for all reading levels, special priced books for adults and children and a wide selection of DVD’s and CD’s. The Give!Guideprovides the Napa community to opportunity to become acquainted with the non-profit community and the ability to spread their donations among those who pique thier interest.

Lucky winner of our 2nd Opportunity Gift

During the month of December when the Give!Guideis open for business, we hold two random drawings for gifts to award to our donors. Recently Maureen Grinnell of Yountville was a lucky winner!

She won a bottle of Merlot from Rutherford Hill Winery and a tasting for six lucky friends. THANK YOU TO MAUREEN FOR HER DONATION TO THE FRIENDS OF THE NAPA LIBRARY THROUGH THE GIVE!GUIDE and to RUTHERFORD HILL WINERY FOR THEIR VERY GENEROUS DONATION!

There is still time to make your donation. The website is open until December 31st. We at the Friends of the Napa Library send our heartfelt thanks and wish you all a happy holiday season and a Happy New Year!

To Celebrate and Recognize National Friends of the Library Week, The Friends of the Napa Library Presents our Annual FREE BOOKS FOR CHILDREN! Event

WHAT? Up to 8 free gently used books per child* and 2 boxes of gently used books per teacher*.

WHEN? Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 1pm – 4pm.

WHERE? Community Room at the Napa County Library at 580 Coombs St. in Napa.

WHY? To celebrate National Friends of the Library Week and because we have donated books that need a new home and don’t want to wait until our next Book Sale on December 8 – 19. So come and get them!

HOW? Thank you to the Napa County Library and our many, many volunteers who made this event happen.
