FOL’s Volunteers Rock!
Volunteers are the backbone of FOL’s operations. They sort books, work the sales, supply books to laundromats and doctors’ offices, staff tables at events, and much more.
Time on your hands? Looking for something fun to do?
If you’ve been thinking about donating your time to a worthwhile cause, consider being a part of FOL. We need help with:

- Sorting and cleaning donated books (shifts are once a week for two hours)
- Being “on call” for sorting when a volunteer is unavailable
- Representing FOL at Napa events, such as the Master Gardeners Fall Faire
- Emptying the donation bins
- Transporting books from off-site storage to the sorting room
- Working the multi-day book sales in the community room (held three times a year)
- Picking up large book donations (with your vehicle), and
- Using your talents when a new project comes up
