September Book Sale is Here!

August 28, 2019

Now that school is back in session and Labor Day is upon us, it is time for our third Book Sale of the Year. The Sale runs from Saturday, September 14, 2019 through Sunday, September 22nd. The Book Sales are the primary source of revenue for the Friends. We use the proceeds to sponsor programs at the library. Your generous support as donors and shoppers allows us to continue supporting these important community programs. Click here to see what programs we support.

We also have Member’s Only Daily Specials which are posted on this website every morning. So come back to this site every day during the sale to see what has been put on sale for that day.

The community has once again generously donated an incredible number of books since the May sale so we will have our usual depth and breadth of books, CD’s, and DVD’s to offer for sale.  We especially have a large number of books on Birding as well as a large number of Vinyl Records of many genres.

When the Napa County Library is open for business, please don’t forget to visit our Lobby Book Sale.  From donations, we select some of the best books, CDs and DVDs to sell in the Lobby at the Library. Sales are on the honor system. You can pay in exact cash or by check. UPDATE: we now take Venmo and PayPal for those of you with their apps on your smartphone.
Take a look next time you are at the library and see what treasures you will discover!

BOOK DONATIONS

Did you know that ALL OF THE BOOKS, CDs, DVDs and RECORDED BOOKS come from donations? While some of the donations come from the library as they cycle media out of their inventory, most of the items we sell come from donations by the public. Without donations, we cannot fund various programs at the library.
Please visit our Donations Page for more information on how to make a Book/CD/DVD donation.
