The Friends of the Napa Library raises funds to support library programs mainly by holding quarterly used book sales and offering special books, CD’s and DVD’s in the lobby at the library. We rely on donations from the public and books the library removes from circulation to provide what we sell. We recognize that without these donations, our ability to raise funds would be severely limited.
However, until the library opens for business and we figure out how we will be able to accept donations on a regular basis we have limited ability to accept and process donations.. So please be patient if you have donations for us.
If you have small donations such as a bag/box or two, please use the bin located at the northeast corner of the library. We are able to empty the bins to keep the books safe.
Because we currently have no staff at the library, if you have a larger donation, please call for an appointment so we can meet you at the library. To make an appointment, please call Bruce Taylor, Book Sale Manager at 707.253.4614. He is available Monday – Friday mornings from 10am-12p. You may also leave a message and he will return your call. You may also contact him at brucepensionato2001@gmail.com.
We currently do not have the room or staff or security to accept donations that cannot fit into the bins. So please understand our current limitations and not leave donations outside the bins.
We appreciate your donations and your patience while we work our way through the “new” normal, whatever that may bring!
